Asteri is proudly to join the global community attending the American Academy of Neurology's 75th annual conference in Boston this week.
The event which runs from April 22 to 27, 2023, is the world's largest gathering of neurology professionals, and has grown steadily from humble beginnings in at a spa in French Lick, Indianna in 1949.
This year's event is expected to be attended by in excess of 15,000 attendees.
After disruptions in 2019 and 2020 through the impact of COVID-19 the 2023, news from our team in attendance is that the event is bigger and bolder than ever, with seven plenary sessions over 200 courses in a variety of formats, more than 300 talks in hubs, and over 2,600 abstract presentations - including 51 platform sessions and 14 poster sessions.
Speaking on a video call to our team back here in Australia, Benet Irish, Asteri CEO is enthusiastic about the connections the event is enabling.
"The community that gathers here at the AAN annual conference includes some of the most innovative and forward thinking professionals in our business. I'm looking forward to discussing the value of targeting of the Australian market with many of them, and hope that our attendance here results in more products becoming accessible to Australia’s small and differentiated patient populations."
